Ways to give

Choose what works for you

Monthly giving

A regular gift helps us plan ahead and keep the centre running reliably — steady support that sustains care month after month.

One-off donation

Give a single gift of any size through our GoFundMe appeal. Every pound goes toward care, medication and dignity.

Zakat

Much of Rajo's work supporting people in poverty and ill health is Zakat-eligible. Let us know if you'd like your gift treated as Zakat.

Gift Aid

If you're a UK taxpayer, Gift Aid adds 25p to every £1 you give at no cost to you. Get in touch and we'll set it up.

Questions

Frequently asked

Rajo Mental Health Education & Support (Rajo MHES) is a Somali health-professionals-led UK charity, founded in 2020, supporting people affected by mental illness in Somalia and the UK. “Rajo” means hope in Somali.

Your gift funds direct care at the Galdogob Mental Health Centre — medication, staff, safe residential places and community outreach — and our most urgent needs: medication and training, the women's wing extension, and a clean water tank.

Much of Rajo's work supporting people in poverty and ill health is eligible for Zakat. If you'd like your gift treated as Zakat, please note this when you give or email rajomhes@gmail.com.

If you're a UK taxpayer, Gift Aid can add 25p to every £1 at no cost to you. Get in touch and we'll make sure your support goes further.

Share our campaign, host an awareness session, or partner with us. Email rajomhes@gmail.com or call +44 7963 120540 to talk about getting involved.
